Grow your local creative economy.
- Learn about AIR activities in your state and then reach out to your state contact when you’re ready to get started in your community. If you don’t reside in a participating state, contact AIR to find out how you can get involved.
- Download ABBBA Workshop materials and start planning your first event with local partners.
- Host an ABBBA Workshop and assess your community interest in expanding your local creative economy and determine readiness for Shift and Evolve.
We want every community to raise the value of art and creativity. Please use these materials to help bring together your arts and business people for an interactive, thoughtful ABBBA Workshop.
We put together a step-by-step plan for convening partners in your community so that you can grow your creative sector. Our workshop content and exercises give your community an idea of what they can do to make your community more vibrant. You can download everything you need to gather new partners and host a workshop: logistics, agenda, PowerPoint slides, marketing materials, and a survey to help assess your community readiness for this work and the other AIR programs.
DOWNLOAD ABBBA MATERIALS
This should be your first step. Download this step-by-step guide that will help you gather new partners and plan for your first public workshop. Reach out to your state contact to see if there is a facilitator who can help you plan and even attend your workshop.
These are the materials you will need to print for your workshop: agenda for your guests, survey so you can assess your community, and exercise props.
Once you’ve gathered your local host team, you can customize these marketing materials – there’s a flier and social media posts ready for your logos and event details.
This READ-ONLY Powerpoint slide deck will allow you to present a two-hour ABBBA Workshop. There are talking points and exercise directions for every slide. The videos for the presentations are linked below.
