With a range of creative writing skills, a substantial publication record, and list of clients who have benefited from her consulting skills, Constance Alexander is a tireless promoter of the arts as an engine for change. Through grants and fellowships, she has directed complex community arts projects, focusing on issues affecting under-served populations; e.g., adults with disabilities, LGBTQ college students, caregivers and the elderly. Her spoken opera, The Way Home, is performed around the country, with proceeds donated to causes like women’s health and the uninsured. A civic journalist, she has written an award-winning column for thirty years.
