Director of Programs: Appalachian Center for Economic Networks
Five Words About Me:
Dedicated, obsessive, curious, cerebral, loquacious
One Surprising Skill:
Restaurant/Bar management as a worker cooperative
I am part of the ACEnet management team leads program staff to coordinate all ACEnet programs and contracts. In my role, I direct multiple training and technical assistance programs for small business development, contract services and the formation of support networks of resource providers. With the support of ACEnet program staff, I serve as the primary convener of our regional brand programs: Food We Love, Art of Ohio and the 30 Mile Meal—engaging a diverse set of partners, stakeholders and markets, in what we refers to as Regional Flavor sectors. I’ve lived in rural Appalachia Ohio for 48 years and would humbly assert that I bring a creative mindset to all my endeavors. Also as a founder and member of a worker-owned business since 1985, I have a profound respect for working in teams, building consensus and staying dedicated to a shared-vision for change in our communities.
